Todd Kupper Sensei

Chief instructor and founder of Keystone Kokikai dojo.

Todd Kupper Sensei has been training in the martial arts since he was a kid. His experience in Kokikai Aikido has been the result of over twenty years of training under Sensei Shuji Maruyama, the founder of Kokikai. Todd has taught and trained throughout the United States and Japan.

Todd's experience in aikido also gave him the inspiration to write the book, Magic of Balanced Living.

He teaches adult class Tuesday night (7-8:30pm).
He also teaches kids/teens' class Thursday night (6:15-7pm),
adult class Thursday night (7-8pm) and advanced adult class
Thursday night (8-9pm)

He currently holds the rank of 6th degree black belt (roku-dan).









Jason Martin Sensei

Senior Instructor

Jason Martin Sensei began his training twenty years ago under Sensei Shuji Maruyama. Over the years, he also developed his skill through intense training and tutelage under Todd Kupper Sensei.

He teaches adult class, Sunday mornings (10-11am) and advanced adult class Sunday mornings (11am-12noon)

Along with teaching at the U.S. hombu dojo, he is chief instructor and founder of Chester County Kokikai dojo in Exton, PA.

He currently holds the rank of 5th degree black belt (go-dan).


Jim O'Brien Sensei

Jim O"Brien Sensei currently holds the rank of 5th degree black belt (go-dan). He teaches kids' class at 9:00 am and adult class from 10:00 – 11:00 am on Saturday mornings.

She currently holds the rank of 3rd degree black belt (san-dan).

Kids Classes

Our kids classes are 2 days a week and are designed to teach confidence and self-defense in a positive environment.
